All things techie!

I <3 these headphones.

The highs and lows are ridiciulous.  It brings new sound to a lot of music, blows my bose headphones out of the water.  Especially considering they broke.

This app is pretty cool, you can install it on your phone or pda.  If you have GPS, it will show you the reported locations of speed traps, hiding cops, road blocks, etc.  If you see them, you can instantly flag it, then it maps it for other users.

I started using Asterisk a few days ago. After watching the systm video, I felt like I had the confidence to dive into it. It was a bit frustrating at first. I setup an account with VoicePulse Connect!, they made it pretty easy to get started. So after messing with it for a couple hours, I got both of my new incoming numbers working, my soft phone working, voicemail working.

Next on the to do is fax to pdf, call queues, and hold music. I still have many questions left to be answered, but I am on the right track I think.

So they are a bit confusing, but this is what I came up with

My mail server is named mail.webspacesolutions.com which my MX record is pointing to

I want to create an SPF record to send and receive for that

So i setup

webspacesolutions.com. 14400 IN TXT “v=spf1 mx -all”
mail 14400 IN TXT “v=spf1 a -all”

Which seems to pass all the SPF tests for the mail server ip, etc

Anyone have any tips? recomendations? I havent used SPF much

I won an APC NetShelter VX 42U cabinet on ebay for $359.00

The buyer was a bit decieving, in the pictures and description it showed a 1u LCD/Keyboard tray, but after I won they quickly emailed me back and said it was a mistake on their part, and there is NO LCD/Keyboard tray included. Blah blah, they offered to cancel my bid. I think they were trying to back out. So I still want it, its an awesome deal for that cabinet.

So after getting like 50 million quotes from shipping companies, i think i have it all figured out and ready to go. :)
