So I have been waiting for months and months for the release of the Sirius app for iPhone, and it finally comes out yesterday. So I download it right away, and noticed that I need to upgrade my basic online account to premium to use the app. Not that big of a deal, since now I can listen to Howard on my iPhone, instead of the crappy web interface when I am at work. It would be great to listen anywhere in the office! But just incase, i signup for the 7 day trial first, and find out there is NO howard. I scroll through the list four times and can’t find it. So I google search it and find many articles like this one.. Sirius iPhone App Debuts Without Howard Stern
What a lame movie on Sirius’s part, for like the 30million iPhone users out there, many of which would probably have no problem paying for a Sirius account to listen to high quality music and talk radio online. That seems like it would open up a whole new market for them, but its doubtful people are going to pay that price for what they are currently offering. Hopefully it will change soon!
